Night vision headgear

Night vision headgear: head harness with nightvision scope or red dot riflescope.

These night vision scopes are worn on a harness around the head (no magnification).

Targeting using a monocular presents the same disadvantages as using a rear-mounted nightvision scope.

Using it in conjunction with a high-quality red dot scope is possible in principle but you may experience issues with the following:

  • Given that the magnification is somewhat lacking, range may be restricted, potentially rendering it difficult to acquire or maintain targets.

  • You may find that wearing the head harness for long or unaccustomed periods of time slightly uncomfortable.
